Update your Aadhaar details every 10 years: Steps how you can follow – The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has issued a notification that Aadhaar cardholders will have to upgrade their card details once every 10 years. As per the notification, the cardholders will require to provide the date of enrolment for their Aadhaar, update support documents in their Aadhaar, and submit proof of identity, and proof of address as given under the Aadhaar Enrolment and Update Regulation 10.
Update your Aadhaar details
Step 1: First of all, Visit the official UIDAI website i.e. uidai.gov.in
Step 2: Next, you will select ‘Update Demographics Data and Check Status’ under the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab
Step 3: After that, you will be redirected to the new page myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. Click on the Login details.
Step 4: Now, you will need to enter your captcha code by entering the Aadhaar number.
Step 5: Click on the send OTP option. A one-time password will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 6: After the login is completed, users can choose ‘Update Aadhaar Online.
Step 7: follow all provided instructions and click on ‘Proceed to Update Aadhaar’.
Step 8: Data field must be updated by entering a new address on my Aadhaar card and clicking ‘Proceed to update Aadhaar.’
Step 9: In the last step, you will have to submit the request and you will be directed to the payment portal, which will pay Rs 50 for updating the address.
